Country Partner vs Authorized Representative
The labels describe different relationships. Engaging a local service supplier does not by itself create a statutory representation appointment.

Country Partner
EPR Connect uses Country Partner for an external supplier that may support local operational work under a commercial scope.
- May assist with language, portals, data or local coordination
- Authority depends on contract and specific instructions
- Is not automatically the producer or statutory representative
Authorized Representative
An Authorized Representative exists only where the applicable framework provides for the role and the required appointment is completed.
- Appointment and responsibilities are jurisdiction-specific
- Mandates, eligibility and registration steps can apply
- Fees and representation are not included unless the proposal says so
Questions before contracting
Confirm the exact role, appointing entity, territory, stream, duration, powers, termination process and evidence produced.
